Job Title: Flight OperationSupervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Flight OperationSupervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Flight Operations team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of all flight support services. The successful candidate will lead operational teams, coordinate global flight support activities, ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company SOPs, and maintain exceptional service standards for clients.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent decision-making skills, and extensive knowledge of international flight operations and trip support services. The Flight OperationSupervisor will serve as the primary operational escalation point during assigned shifts while driving operational excellence across a 24/7 environment.


Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Flight Operations team.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all flight support services from trip confirmation through flight completion.
  • Coordinate worldwide aircraft handling arrangements.
  • Arrange landing permits, overflight permits, airport slots, PPRs, and ground handling services.
  • Coordinate fuel releases and fuel arrangements.
  • Organize hotel accommodations, crew transportation, catering, security, and other trip support services.
  • Monitor flight movements and proactively manage schedule changes or operational disruptions.
  • Ensure all client requests are handled accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate with international vendors, FBOs, airport authorities, civil aviation authorities, and service providers.
  • Maintain complete and accurate operational documentation for every flight.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and support Flight Operations Executives.
  • Allocate daily operational tasks and monitor team workloads.
  • Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective operational handovers.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with shift schedules, attendance, punctuality, and company policies.
  • Identify training requirements and support employee development.
  • Escalate disciplinary or performance concerns to the Operations Manager and HR.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Company SOPs, aviation regulations, and client requirements.
  • Maintain operational quality standards and service excellence.
  • Ensure all operational records are complete, accurate, and confidential.
  • Participate in internal audits and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Communicate operational updates promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional communication.
  • Respond promptly to operational requests and enquiries.
  • Resolve operational issues efficiently while minimizing disruption to client operations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

Reporting & Operational Control

  • Prepare daily shift reports and operational handover reports.
  • Report operational incidents, delays, client complaints, and irregularities.
  • Escalate critical operational issues immediately to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and recommend continuous process improvements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely execution of all assigned flight operations.
  • Compliance with Company SOPs and aviation regulations.
  • Accuracy of permits, handling arrangements, and operational documentation.
  • Client satisfaction and response time.
  • Reduction in operational errors and service failures.
  • Effective shift planning and resource utilization.
  • Team productivity, discipline, and performance.
  • Timely reporting and escalation of operational incidents.
  • Effective coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Valid Flight Dispatcher License (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Aviation-related qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Business Aviation, Flight Operations, or Trip Support.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international flight operations, trip support, permits, aircraft handling, and aviation regulations.
