Job Description:

Position:        Officer/Executive - Production

Location:         Silvassa

Experience:    0 - 5 Years

Industries:      Pharma 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily production activities as per the approved production plan and batch schedule.
  • Ensure manufacturing of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Supervise dispensing, manufacturing, filling, packing, and batch changeover activities.
  • Monitor critical process parameters and maintain in-process quality checks.
  • Ensure accurate batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR) and production documentation.
  • Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Planning departments for smooth operations.
  • Ensure proper machine setup, operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance coordination.
  • Monitor manpower utilization and maintain production targets with optimum productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and housekeeping (5S) standards in the production area.
  • Investigate production deviations, non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Minimize production losses, wastage, and downtime through continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure timely completion of line clearance, equipment cleaning, and area clearance before production.
  • Train production operators on SOPs, GMP, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in validation, qualification, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory of production consumables and coordinate material requirements with Stores.
