Jr. Design Engineer (Ahmedabad- AutoCAD -SolidWorks)

Job Description:

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a highly experienced Junior Design Engineer / Draughtsman, who will
lead design activities, support manufacturing operations. The role demands strong technical
capability, hands-on design experience, and the ability to collaborate across departments to
deliver reliable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering
 Develop and review mechanical design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings using
SolidWorks and AutoCAD
 Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
 Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with quality
standards
 Support prototype development, testing, and design validation
Manufacturing Coordination

 Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to resolve design-
related issues
 Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
 Drive design improvements based on shop-floor feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
 Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects
 Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and process optimization initiatives
Required Skills & Competencies:
 Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
 Extensive experience in manufacturing unit–based design
 Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, and assembly processes
 Proven team handling and leadership skills
 Ability to troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges
 Strong documentation and communication skills
Educational Qualification:
 B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
 Civil Engineering graduates with strong manufacturing design exposure may also be
considered
