Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence through process optimization, resource utilization, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective team leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement production schedules aligned with customer requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day shop floor operations to achieve production targets.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Analyze production data, machine downtime, and operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain product quality and resolve process deviations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve manufacturing performance.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise production teams and shop floor personnel.
  • Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and skill development programs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve production, equipment, and process-related issues.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, efficiency, rejection rates, and on-time delivery.
  • Prepare periodic production reports and present operational performance to senior management.
  • Utilize production data and MIS reports to support informed decision-making and operational improvements.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/B.Tech – Electrical/Electronics) or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in panel manufacturing, industrial automation, or electrical manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing production planning, shop floor operations, process improvement, and manufacturing teams.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of production processes and industrial engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of electrical panel manufacturing and automation industries.
  • Expertise in production planning and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership, team management, and employee development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Our Client operates from its main office in Ahmedabad, which spans over 5000 square feet of office space, along with a centralized warehouse covering 4500 square feet. Additionally, they have a 3000 square feet panel shop floor for assembling configured panels.

In Jaipur, they have a branch office that also serves as a warehouse, equipped with a dedicated training center.
