Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP is hiring a Senior Quality Controller for a leading Woven Garment Manufacturing & Export Company based in Gurugram, Haryana.

We are looking for a highly experienced quality professional with 15+ years of experience in garment manufacturing and export, capable of leading end-to-end quality assurance, ensuring buyer compliance, reducing defects, and driving continuous quality improvement across production.

Job Summary

The Senior Quality Controller will be responsible for managing quality systems across fabric inspection, cutting, stitching, finishing, packing, and shipment. The role requires strong experience with international buyer quality standards, inline inspections, final audits, and factory quality management.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in garment export houses and possess strong leadership skills to manage quality teams while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement garment quality control systems.
• Ensure adherence to AQL standards and buyer quality requirements.
• Monitor quality from fabric inspection to final shipment.
• Conduct Inline, Midline, and Final Quality Audits.
• Reduce DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) and improve First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues.
• Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Industrial Engineering, and Washing teams.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
• Manage customer inspections and third-party audits.
• Train quality inspectors and production teams on quality standards.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare MIS reports.
• Handle buyer approvals and quality documentation.
• Ensure shipment approvals are completed within timelines.
