Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Welding Shop Production Supervisor with 1–2+ years of experience in welding shop operations and production supervision. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, supervising the welding team, ensuring quality and safety compliance, maintaining equipment, and achieving production targets as per the production plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily welding production activities as per production requirements.
• Supervise and manage the welding shop team and allocate work effectively.
• Monitor production targets, productivity, and timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements in the welding shop.
• Monitor welding quality and ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth production.
• Monitor welding machines and equipment condition and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize welding processes to improve productivity, quality, and reduce rejection/rework.
• Maintain production records, reports, and shift-wise performance data.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the welding shop.
• Train and guide operators on safe working practices and standard operating procedures.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Welding, or a related technical field preferred.

Experience

1–2+ years of experience in welding shop production, fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
