Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager with 8–10 years of relevant experience in press component manufacturing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of press shop operations, press tools, dies, production planning, manpower management, quality control, and process improvement. The role involves managing overall production activities and ensuring timely delivery, productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complete press shop production operations.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to achieve targets.
• Ensure smooth and efficient production of press components as per customer requirements.
• Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and shop-floor manpower.
• Must have strong practical knowledge of press tools, dies, press machines, and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor machine capacity, production efficiency, productivity, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and other departments.
• Ensure production quality standards and minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Analyze production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE compliance, 5S, and shop-floor discipline.
• Monitor preventive maintenance requirements and coordinate with the Maintenance Team.
• Prepare and review production MIS, daily production reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensure timely completion of production as per delivery schedules.
• Develop and implement SOPs and standard production processes.
• Train, guide, and develop the production team to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
