Job Description:

Position: Sales Engineer – Chemicals
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Department: Chemical
Experience: 2–4 Years

Sales Engineer Chemical - Basic 5000 SAR – 6000 SAR

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and grow sales opportunities for Specialty Chemicals and Process Fluids across Saudi Arabia.
  • Manage chemical operations in coordination with Logistics, Supply Chain teams, and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
  • Conduct customer site surveys and understand chemical processes, particularly metalworking applications.
  • Coordinate and monitor product trials with the principal’s technical team.
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers for technical alignment, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare technically sound and commercially competitive proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized chemical solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in chemical sales, preferably Specialty or Industrial Chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and industrial operations.
  • Good knowledge of chemical applications and technical sales.
  • Experience in Metalworking, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Chemicals, Aerospace, or Offshore industries is preferred.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B chemical/industrial sales.
  • Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Experience with major customers such as Saudi Aramco, Ma’aden, and Hadeed is an added advantage.
  • Valid Saudi driving license or willingness/eligibility to obtain one.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Saudi Arabia.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys, customer trials, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
