Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounts team. The candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, and be willing to work in a 12-hour shift in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal vouchers.
- Assist in preparing GST data and statutory records.
- Maintain petty cash and cash book.
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Prepare invoices and maintain billing records.
- Verify vendor bills and support payment processing.
- Maintain accounting files, vouchers, and financial documents.
- Assist during internal and statutory audits.
- Prepare MIS reports as required by management.
- Coordinate with other departments for accounting-related activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a 12-hour shift.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce.
- Tally Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting.
- Freshers with good Tally knowledge may also apply.
