Job Description:

It will be on third party payroll of Talisman HR Solutions Pvt Ltd

1. Process Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead and manage all Process engineering and execution activities for the project.
  • Prepare and monitor detailed process execution plans, schedules, manpower deployment, and progress tracking.
  • Coordinate Process design with architectural, civil, process, and automation teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Review Process deliverables to ensure alignment with project scope, specifications, and quality standards.

2. Mechanical & Utility Systems

  • Oversee engineering and installation of HVAC, cleanroom air systems, chillers, AHUs, exhaust systems, process air, nitrogen, and other utility systems.
  • Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, ISHRAE, cGMP, and GEP standards in all mechanical works.
  • Review equipment sizing, layout drawings, and installation details for compliance and maintainability.

3. Electrical Systems

  • Manage design and execution of power distribution (HT/LT systems), transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and cable management systems.
  • Coordinate with automation and instrumentation teams for BMS/EMS integration.
  • Ensure load balancing, redundancy, and energy efficiency in system design.
  • Oversee electrical safety compliance, testing, and commissioning of panels, MCCs, and switchgear.

4. Piping & Process Utility Systems

  • Lead piping design, fabrication, and installation for process, clean utility, and black utility systems.
  • Review and approve P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, and material specifications.
  • Ensure use of correct piping materials (SS316L, UPVC, HDPE, etc.) as per service and GMP requirements.
  • Coordinate hydrotesting, flushing, passivation, and loop validation activities.

5. Procurement, Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Support technical evaluation (TBE) and vendor selection for MEP equipment and packages.
  • Review vendor drawings, GA layouts, and data sheets for conformity to project specifications.
  • Manage contractors during installation, erection, and commissioning stages ensuring compliance and productivity.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely material availability.

6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all MEP activities meet GMP, GEP, EHS, and local statutory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures including inspections, FAT/SAT, and documentation.
  • Drive adherence to Safety standards (lockout-tagout, confined space, hot work, etc.) and zero-incident culture.
  • Maintain all testing and validation records required for regulatory submission and audits.

7. Commissioning, Qualification & Handover

  • Lead commissioning of MEP systems in coordination with commissioning and validation teams.
  • Support IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and execution for utilities and systems.
  • Ensure MEP systems are fully validated, documented, and handed over to operations in ready-to-run condition.

8. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain MEP design documents, as-built drawings, test certificates, and O&M manuals.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly MEP progress reports, issue logs, and performance dashboards.
