Position: Learning & Development Executive
Department: Human Resources – Learning & Development

Reports To: AGM – HR
Job Summary
The L&D Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, documenting, and monitoring all employee training and development activities. The role includes preparing annual training plans, coordinating with HODs, maintaining training records, ensuring ISO compliance, supporting internal and external audits, and tracking training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination
- Coordinate all internal and external training programs.
- Prepare monthly and annual training calendars.
- Coordinate with HODs to identify departmental training needs.
- Schedule training programs and communicate with participants.
- Arrange training venues, materials, trainers, and logistics.
Training Documentation
- Maintain complete training documentation and records.
- Prepare training nominations, attendance sheets, feedback forms, certificates, and reports.
- Update employee training history and competency records.
- Maintain soft and hard copies of all L&D documents.
Training Planning & Monitoring
- Prepare Annual Training Plan based on the Training Need Analysis (TNA).
- Monitor training attendance and follow up with departments.
- Track training completion status and compliance.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare monthly MIS reports.
ISO Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain all L&D-related ISO documents.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards.
- Control training records as per document control procedures.
- Update SOPs, work instructions, and training matrices.
Audit Support
- Prepare required documents for Internal and External Audits.
- Ensure training records are audit ready.
- Coordinate closure of audit observations related to training.
- Support certification and surveillance audits.
Coordination
- Liaise with HODs, trainers, external training agencies, and consultants.
- Coordinate induction and onboarding training for new employees.
- Maintain communication with all stakeholders regarding training schedules and compliance.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly training MIS reports.
- Monitor department-wise training completion.
- Present training progress reports to management.
- Maintain KPI dashboards related to Learning & Development.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / MHRM / MSW (HR) / PGDM (HR)
- Certification in Learning & Development or Training Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
