Job Summary
Strides Software is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Database Support Executive with 1–3 years of experience to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of relational databases, SQL, data management, and troubleshooting. The role involves monitoring database operations, resolving database-related issues, supporting application teams, and ensuring data accuracy and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for database-related issues and user requests.
- Monitor database performance and ensure smooth database operations.
- Execute SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, and updates.
- Assist in database backup, restoration, and recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database errors in coordination with the development team.
- Support application teams by providing database-related assistance.
- Perform data imports, exports, migrations, and validation.
- Maintain database documentation and update support logs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues within defined timelines.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of database backup and recovery processes.
- Basic knowledge of database performance monitoring.
