Job Description:

Position               : Project Manager – Fall Protection

Job Location       : Vadodara

Salary Budget     :  7.00 to 9.00 LPA

Role Summary

The Project Manager – Fall Protection will independently plan, execute, and deliver working-at-height projects (roofing, scaffolding, fall arrest systems, safety barriers/railings, and related site installations) from award to closure. The role owns project schedule, cost, quality, risk, and client relationship for assigned sites, and is a critical driver of on-time, on-budget, and safe project delivery for the vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed project plans and execution schedules for roofing, scaffolding, and working-at-height projects; ensure projects are delivered on time with minimal schedule variance and baseline changes.
  • Track and report milestone achievement; proactively re-plan and course-correct to protect committed timelines.
  • Own the project base sheet — manage budgets, control cost variance (budgeted vs. actual), and ensure optimal utilisation of project resources and materials.
  • Forecast and track sales, payments, and collections for assigned projects; support accurate P&L analysis and ensure adherence to project scope and requirements.
  • Ensure execution quality on site is in line with approved SOPs; monitor and minimise rework, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards on every project.
  • Proactively identify site and project risks (safety, schedule, cost, client), maintain risk/issue logs, and drive timely mitigation; manage client communication and escalations professionally.
  • Publish timely, accurate project reports, dashboards, and MIS to management and clients; close communication gaps between site, office, and client stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage on-site teams (own staff, supervisors, and contracted labour) — plan manpower, monitor productivity, and resolve conflicts to keep sites running smoothly and safely.
  • Coordinate with procurement, design/engineering, and safety teams to ensure sites are executed as per drawings, safety norms (working at height, PPE usage), and statutory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (preferred); PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
  • 6–10 years of experience in project management for working-at-height, roofing, scaffolding, industrial safety, or infrastructure/construction execution.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of working-at-height systems, roofing and scaffolding methods, and fall protection equipment/standards.
  • Sound understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and MIS/reporting.
  • Hands-on site execution experience with the ability to manage contractors, vendors, and on-site teams.
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and statutory compliance relevant to height/roof work.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across India.
