Business Development Manager

Job Description:

Business development manager: (BDM) is often the first point of contact a new potential client will have with a business when they are seeking information on the products and
services the company provides. The BDM also responds to RFP's, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.
EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS:

▪ New Clients and existing Customers
▪ Vendors & Suppliers
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
▪ General purchases control and expenditure
▪ Financial Reporting
▪ Payment Collection
▪ Credit Risk Evaluation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Making and closing sales
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
• handle complaints or objections.
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
• Create awareness of all the products and services in the area to magnify market influence and generate future sales.
• Achieving monthly set targets set by the company.
• Implement customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Strictly following company guidelines and policies.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by the Management.
