Job Description:

Position:      Accounts Manager

Location:      Umbergaon

Experience:   8 - 12 Years 

Industries:    Plastic 

Responsibilities:

  • Finance & Accounts
  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations and maintenance of books of accounts.
  • Supervise and review Accounts Payable, Receivables, General Ledger, Bank
  • Reconciliation and Journal Entries.
  • Ensure timely monthly and annual closure of accounts.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow and working capital.
  • Maintain appropriate financial controls and accounting processes. Manufacturing Accounts & Costing
  • Manage accounting related to raw materials, WIP, finished goods, inventory and production.
  • Coordinate with Production, Stores and Purchase for inventory reconciliation.
  • Monitor manufacturing costs, consumption, wastage and scrap.
  • Prepare/review product costing and cost variance analysis.
  • Identify cost leakages and highlight significant variances to Management.
  • Taxation, Compliance & Audit
  • Review GST, TDS and other applicable tax-related records and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with external consultants for statutory tax compliances and filings.
  • Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all statutory and audit requirements.
  • MIS & Management Reporting
  • Prepare and present monthly MIS to Management.
  • Provide reports on sales, collections, receivables, payables, inventory, expenses, cash flow and profitability.
  • Analyse budget vs. actuals and significant cost/revenue variances.
  • Provide financial insights and highlight risks requiring Management attention.
  • Team Management
  • Lead and manage a team of 4 to 5 Accounts employees.
  • Allocate responsibilities, review work and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Develop team capability, improve processes and establish accountability.
  • Ensure adequate controls, documentation and backup for critical activities.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Management, Plant Operations, Production, Purchase, Stores, Sales, HR
  • and external consultants/auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Required Skills:

  • Timely and accurate monthly closure and MIS.
  • Strong control over receivables, payables and working capital.
  • Accurate inventory and costing records.
  • Timely tax/compliance coordination.
  • Audit readiness and timely closure of observations.
  • Effective financial controls and process discipline.
  • Productive and accountable Accounts team.

Required Qualification: - B.Com/M.Com

Salary :- Upto 11.00 LPA
