Jr Accountant

Job Description:

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with reconciliations, invoicing, GST, TDS, and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts.
Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Support monthly closing and preparation of MIS reports.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and vendor payments.
Assist during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure accounting transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and auditors as required.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST and TDS.
Good understanding of AP, AR and Bank Reconciliation.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing, trading, service, or corporate environment would be preferred.
