Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maximize asset reliability and engineering excellence across our plastic molding facility. The employee will lead the installation ,  technical troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle management of all production machinery, including advanced injection, blow, and extrusion molding equipment. In this role, he will design strategic preventative maintenance plans, lead equipment retrofits, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to eliminate critical downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults on the molding machines, molds , utility, and auxiliary equipment
• Component Repair: Repair temperature controllers, hot runner systems, heater bands, VFDs, and servo drives.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks, inspect electrical panels, and update equipment logs.
• Shift Handovers: Provide detailed, accurate logs of ongoing maintenance issues and completed repairs to incoming shift teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and ensure compliance with local electrical safety norms.

       ·      Manage critical inventory: Oversee high-value electrical spares, ensuring continuous availability of critical spare components.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering,
• Experience: 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience, specifically within a plastic molding plant.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read complex electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts or handle on-call emergency breakdowns.
• Downtime reduction: A proven history of utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to permanently resolve repetitive equipment failures.
