Job Description:

πŸ”Ή Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
● Own the end-to-end accounting function for multiple group companies.
● Maintain books of accounts in Tally with complete accuracy and timeliness.
● Record accounting entries, journal vouchers, ledger postings and month-end closures.
● Perform bank, vendor, customer, loan and inter-company reconciliations.
● Ensure books remain reconciled and audit-ready throughout the year.

2. Statutory Compliance
● Prepare and file GST returns accurately within prescribed timelines.
● Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely tax payments.
● Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
● Coordinate with consultants, auditors and regulatory authorities whenever required.
● Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.

3. Banking & Treasury
● Manage banking operations including payments, receipts and reconciliations.
● Prepare payment schedules and monitor cash flow.
● Assist management in treasury planning and fund management.
● Liaise with banks for documentation, account operations and other banking
requirements.

4. Reporting & MIS
● Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
● Generate accurate MIS reports for management review.
● Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
● Present financial information in a professional, organised and easy-to-understand
manner.

5. Documentation & Communication
● Draft professional emails, request letters and business correspondence.
● Maintain proper documentation for accounting records and statutory filings.
● Coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and financial institutions.

6. Process Improvement
● Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal
controls.
● Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring accounting activities.
● Identify discrepancies, operational gaps and compliance risks before they become
issues.
● Recommend practical improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

7. Audit & Support
● Coordinate internal, statutory and tax audits.
● Provide complete documentation and explanations required during audits.
● Support management on special projects and financial initiatives whenever required.
