Job Objective

Manufacturing Engineer in New Projects

Execution of planning and approval of new and complex production equipment in alignment with the product and development process
Planning and specifying complex working cycles and sequences, taking new and modified production processes and methods into account; planning and arranging for the procurement / manufacture of appropriate operating and testing equipment
Projecting within the context of development projects in agreement with the superior

Coordinate and lead the other ME team and also Maintaining over all Projects within development and tracking the development activities and responsible to meet the Project requirement and Project timeline and develop the maintain Project dashboard for all the Projects and Project KPI- QCT target

Manufacturing Engineering

Agreeing and following up targets with the Project Manager or the Operations Manager and LCM in terms of quality, costs, and timing in agreement with the superior and taking existing processes and methods into consideration

A Manufacturing Engineering

Executing in the development of production methods taking the market development for production systems into account and check new systems for their suitability and applicability as set by Hella specific constrains and legal requirements

A Manufacturing Engineering

Prepare suggestions for design of components suitable for production in accordance with manufacturing requirements identifying concrete potentials for saving based on the idea of TCO (total cost of ownership); inspiring design or manufacturing engineering changes

A Manufacturing Engineering

Plan complex operating equipment based on capacity and staff deployment plans to be drawn up; define type, extent, and number necessary production equipment (including auxiliary and series tools, jigs, testing equipment, special machines); arrange the procurement and/or production of the specified operating equipment

Determine available internal capacities for the construction of operating equipment; estimate the costs and prepare suggestions for internal or external procurement

A Manufacturing Engineering

Define and describe manufacturing sequences, manufacturing capacities and operating equipment data considering the planning variables to be determined (workflows, planned times, batch sizes); prepare manufacturing plans using existing systems and methods

Plan new manufacturing sequences and operating equipment with the help of existing manufacturing processes, taking knowledge from the field of work science, production engineering, and economics into account, as well as guidelines and standards. Use digitization to increase efficiency and robustness ( e.g. MES, Hydra, iTAC)

Continual editing, interpretation, and implementation of relevant technical information from internal and external partners as well as coordination and implementation of process and production equipment changes

Prepare, update, and manage production and quality related documentations

Audit Lead and Preparation

Involvement in internal and external pre-series audits in production and quality assurance, as well as supporting series auditing in agreement with the superior if appropriate

Plan and coordinate the preparation of (initial) samples including component recording and provision; monitoring the production of (initial) samples and carrying out acceptance test checks; if appropriate initiating design changes in agreement with the project team

Involvement in and/or implementation of defined escalation scenarios whenever deviations from targets occur in manufacturing engineering, showing existing alternative solutions

Customer Audit and Audit Preparation

Lead change management (ECN control, costing, feasibility analysis, scheduling etc.)

Participate and Presenting Release meeting in different Project release phase and Customer meeting for Project status for all the Tooling and Assy line and launch readiness

Responsibility for the monitoring the Project task and critical process

implementation of improvement / cost reduction action (continuous improvement) with the target to reach the relevant performance KPIs

To meet the ReDTc (Re-design to cost and TPP target)

Establishing, developing, and supporting the global and regional networks

Collaboration and contributing to global and regional networks and team structures

Able to make the RFQ and Handle RFQ and timeline preparation

Good understanding and Knowledge to estimate the Project Cost estimation for Assy line and Tooling for new Project and able to understand the anticipated customer requirement and draft in to requirement sheet

Job Profile / Requirements

University degree/ B-Tech or higher

Additional certification will be Preferred for Management /leadership program/ High level excel and Power Bi, AI tools

Presentation skill to handle global team and Customers
