Accountant (Reporting to Head of Accounts)

Kolkata (On-site) | Finance | 5+ years | B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter

About the Role

Its is a fashion house with export operations. We need an Accountant to work under our Head of Accounts, handling day-to-day accounting, independent accounts finalization, export documentation, and direct interaction with auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently finalize accounts as per company standards
• Handle daily accounting in Tally ERP
• Manage GST filing and export documentation
• Perform bank reconciliation and international payment tracking
• Deal with auditors directly: prepare schedules, respond to queries, manage audit process
• Prepare financial reports for management

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years in accounting domain
• Expert Tally ERP user
• Independent GST filing and export documentation
• Ability to independently finalize accounts
• Direct experience dealing with auditors (not just assisting)
• Bank reconciliation and international payment handling

Nice to Have

• Export industry experience
• B.Com, CA Inter/ ICWA
• Age max upto 40yrs

 Ideal candidate should have experience in following:

1) Proficiency in Tally Must ,

2)  MS office ( Ms-word, Excel professional)

3) Statutory compliance ( GST, TDS, ESI, EPFO, P.Tax ,)

4) Coordinate with production team and Maintain stock,

5) Knowledge of Salary preparation

5) BRS ( INR & Currency)

6) Knowledge of accounting Entry in tally Export and import Business.

7) Knowledge of accounting Entry in tally Foreign Inward remittance & outward remittanc
