Job Description:
Position Summary :
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new B2B clients, managing key accounts, and delivering technically sound electrical power panels, industrial switchgears, electrical components, acquiring OEM projects and align with customer requirements and company capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new customers across target industries (Utilities, Industries, renewable energy assets, complex projects, government projects)
- Develop strong technical understanding of products and communicate value propositions effectively.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, product & services presentations
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and close deals with line manger approvals.
- Manage complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to payment collection.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for solution delivery
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and CRM updates.
- Serving existing customer, after sales services support and exploring ongoing sales opportunities from existing customer accounts.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of industrial products and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
- Knowledge of materials (panels, switch gears, electrical components & its respective
- local & international standards preferred)
- Commercial acumen including pricing, and cost structures.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and sales reporting systems
