Assistant / Officer - Human Resource

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day HR & Administration activities at plant level.
• Manage employee attendance, leave and shift-related records.
• Support recruitment, screening, interview coordination and joining formalities.
• Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
• Handle onboarding, induction and employee engagement activities.
• Coordinate with departments for manpower requirements.
• Assist in payroll inputs, attendance verification and salary-related data.
• Support statutory compliance activities such as PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity and Labour Laws.
• Maintain HR MIS, employee databases and monthly HR reports.
• Coordinate with contract labour/workmen and maintain related records.
• Support training programs and employee welfare activities.
• Handle employee queries and routine HR grievances.
• Assist in disciplinary procedures and HR policy implementation.
• Coordinate with plant management and corporate HR for HR-related matters.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and HR documentation.
• Basic knowledge of PF, ESIC and labour compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with employees, contractors and plant departments.
• Knowledge of HRMS/ERP will be an added advantage.
• Manufacturing / Textile / Chemical industry experience preferred.
