Job Description:

Export Sales & Marketing Executive at Universal Starch Chem Allied Limited combines international business development, client relationship management, and end-to-end export-import operations for maize starch and allied derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • International Sales & Business Development: Identify new global markets, generate B2B leads, and expand the footprint of starch and starch derivative products across international food, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term communication with overseas buyers, distributors, and agents regarding inquiries, pricing, and product applications.
  • Export Operations & Documentation: Handle pre- and post-shipment documentation, coordinate customs clearance, and ensure strict compliance with international trade laws and government regulations.
  • Commercial & Financial Coordination: Manage international payment terms including Letters of Credit (LC), proforma invoices, and payment tracking.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the plant, production, logistics, and finance teams to guarantee timely order execution and dispatch planning.  
  • Market Reporting: Prepare regular management reports, sales forecasts, and market trend analysis (MIS).  

Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.  
  • Experience: 2 to 4+ years of proven experience in export sales, marketing, or export-import documentation within a manufacturing or agro-processing environment
  • Skills:
    • Strong working knowledge of export regulations, DGFT matters, and shipping logistics.
    • Familiarity with handling Letters of Credit (LC) and bank negotiations.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Proficiency in enterprise tools like SAP or advanced MS Excel is an added advantage.
