About the Role
It is a fashion house producing high-quality garments for international clients. We need a QC Head to own the entire quality process. You must be able to check both stitching and embroidery defects, train a team, and work constructively with production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality control: fabric inspection through final dispatch
- Check stitching, embroidery (hand and machine), measurements, finishing, labelling, and packing
- Create order-wise QC protocols for unique orders with different specs
- Build, train, and manage the checking team
- Work with Production to balance quality and delivery constructively
- Prepare QC reports: defect rates, types, corrective actions
- Ensure audit readiness at all times
Must-Have Requirements
- Fashion/textile institute degree (NIFT, IIHT, or equivalent)
- 7+ years in garment QC
- Export QC experience: AQL, buyer audits
- Ability to check stitching AND embroidery defects (hand + machine)
- Experience with delicate fabrics
- Team training and management experience
Nice to Have
- Premium brand QC experience
