SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR -MECAHNICAL - Location -> BAHRAIN

Job Description:

Profile Summary,

• Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities for REMEASURABLE / UNIT RATE CONTRACTS. 
• Undertake cost analysis for Construction and EPC project. 
• Prepare and Manage control Budget. 
• Prepare and manage Resource Budget (Manpower & Equipment). 
• Prepare Monthly Cost reports. 
• Forecast costs within reports – project actual cost against planned costs to provide accurate forecasts with which to manage the project performance. 
• Prepare and submit monthly valuations, including all supporting information for materials on site, variations and measurement. 
• Familiar with measuring Value of Work Done and WIP. 
• Manage variations from the Contract Administrator / Project Manager ensuring all additional works are correctly recorded in line with the contract, and adequate records are maintained to ensure full revenue recovery.
• In conjunction with the Contracts Manager, compile, submit and negotiate agreement of the final contract account.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control.
• Should  always   update  the BOQ Reconciliation of   quantities  with respect to   as built drawings  and  certified  quantities     should  be    carried  as  and when required 
• Identify, analyses and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Prepare and analyses actual costings.
• Subcontractors Management.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports. 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Essential Job Requirements 
Qualification : Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience Minimum of 12 years + experience in Oil & Gas projects.

Required Skills Proficient with MS Office Program.

Preferred Skills
A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills.
