Asst Manager Maintenance - Mechanical

Job Description:

Description of the activities: The Assistant Manager – Maintenance & Projects will be responsible for the overall management of plant Mechanical maintenance, utilities, infrastructure, and project execution activities. The role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical maintenance, project implementation, engineering drawings, and facility management to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations

Duties, Powers and Responsibilities:

· Lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility.

· Ensure optimum performance, reliability, and availability of plant equipment and utilities.

· Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

· Monitor and improve equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for project execution.

· Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, quality standards, and budgets.

· Supervise infrastructure development and facility improvement projects.

· Coordinate and monitor civil construction and renovation activities.

· Maintain and ensure reliable operation of: Overhead Cranes, Chilling Plants, Cooling Towers, CNG, Lathe Systems,

Hot Water Generators, Other mechanical and utility equipment critical to plant operations

Job requirement:

· Qualification :- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a

Government-recognized University/Institute.

· Experience :- Around 10 - 12 years related work experience in Maintenance Dept. in Textile/ Heavy Engineering

Manufacturing Company.

· Gender :- Male

· AGE :- 35 - 40 Yrs.

· Languages Known :- English, Hindi and Gujarati.
