Job Description (JD)

Key Responsibilities

• Statutory Compliance: Independently manage end-to-end GST compliances, including the timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
• Reconciliation Matrix: Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers (books). Ensure zero input tax credit (ITC) leakage and coordinate directly with defaulting vendors. [
• Operational Logistics: Oversee daily e-invoicing and e-way bill management for factory dispatches. Verify debit notes, credit notes, and commercial invoices.
• Litigation & Audit Support: Draft precise replies to GST notices, scrutiny assessments, and audit observations. Represent the company before GST authorities during departmental audits.
• Refunds & Structuring: Process and track GST refund claims (such as inverted duty structure or export refunds). Optimize tax outflows while complying fully with current legislation.
• Internal Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert for plant operations, purchase teams, and sales teams on the tax implications of manufacturing transactions.

Desired Profile & Technical Skills

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of core indirect taxation experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance, or Inter-CA / Inter-CMA
