We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow professional with 8+ years of experience, preferably with 8–10 years of ServiceNow development experience, and strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), software license compliance, software models, normalization, reconciliation, integrations, automation, and ServiceNow development.

Key Responsibilities – ServiceNow SAM Lead Developer

ServiceNow SAM Pro Implementation

• Lead enterprise-level ServiceNow SAM Pro implementations.
• Design and configure Software Asset Management solutions based on business and compliance requirements.
• Develop scalable software asset lifecycle processes.
• Configure software models and publisher-specific licensing requirements.
• Support software entitlement management and license optimization.
• Design processes for software compliance, usage tracking and reconciliation.

Software License Compliance

• Design and implement software license compliance models.
• Manage software entitlements and license positions.
• Support compliance initiatives for enterprise software publishers.
• Analyze software consumption, entitlement and usage information.
• Identify licensing gaps and compliance risks.
• Support software audit and compliance activities.
• Develop processes to improve software license utilization and optimization.

Software Normalization & Reconciliation

• Implement software normalization processes.
• Configure and maintain software reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate software identification and classification.
• Improve the quality and reliability of software inventory data.
• Work with discovery and inventory data sources to support accurate SAM processes.

License Reclamation & Automation

• Design and implement automated license reclamation workflows.
• Identify opportunities to recover unused or underutilized software licenses.
• Build ServiceNow automation to improve software asset lifecycle management.
• Use Flow Designer and ServiceNow development capabilities to automate SAM processes.
• Improve operational efficiency through workflow automation.

ServiceNow Integration Responsibilities

The SAM Lead Developer will work on integrations between ServiceNow and discovery/software inventory platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing SAM-related integration architecture.
