Technician - Maintenance
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
- Maintenance of pumps, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filter press and related machinery.
- Attend mechanical breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
- Carry out fitting, dismantling, alignment and replacement of mechanical parts.
- Handle mechanical maintenance of pipelines, valves, flanges and fittings.
- Inspect equipment and identify mechanical problems.
- Follow maintenance schedules and plant SOPs.
- Maintain tools, spares and basic maintenance records.
- Follow PPE, permit-to-work and plant safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the maintenance area.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in chemical/process plant equipment.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines and rotating equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
- Safety-conscious and able to work in shifts.
