Job Overview

Orbit Global HR Consultants, one of the leading interior hiring agencies in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR, is hiring an experienced Site Architect – Interior Fit-Out for a leading organization in the interior design and fit-out industry.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in site execution, interior fit-out, architectural coordination and project management, preferably across commercial offices, hospitality, hotels, residential or corporate interior projects.

The Site Architect will be responsible for managing day-to-day site execution, coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors and MEP teams, and ensuring that all architectural and interior works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day architectural and interior fit-out execution at project sites.

• Study and interpret GFC drawings, architectural drawings, interior drawings, shop drawings, specifications and BOQs.

• Ensure execution follows approved drawings, design intent, specifications and project standards.

• Coordinate with clients, architects, PMC consultants, project managers, contractors, subcontractors and vendors.

• Review drawings and identify discrepancies, technical issues, site constraints and coordination requirements.

• Coordinate with MEP, civil, structural and other service teams for seamless integration of interior works.

• Monitor workmanship, materials, finishes and overall quality of interior execution.

• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.

• Coordinate with vendors and factory teams for custom furniture, modular furniture, joinery, doors, wall panels, ceilings and other interior elements.

• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, samples and mock-ups.

• Coordinate mock-ups and ensure required approvals are obtained before execution or mass production.

• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress reports, inspection checklists and quality records.

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and proactively highlight delays and execution challenges.

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely closure of snags, defects and punch-list items.

• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, site instructions and technical documentation.

• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure proper sequencing of interior works.

• Attend project/site meetings and communicate technical requirements effectively to execution teams.

• Support the Project Manager / Project Head in resolving technical, architectural and execution-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and site safety procedures.

• Support final inspection, snagging, rectification and handover of completed interior works.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant site execution experience.

• Strong experience in interior fit-out and architectural site execution.

• Good understanding of architectural drawings, interior drawings, GFC drawings, shop drawings and construction details.

• AutoCAD proficiency is essential.

• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other architectural/design software will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes and construction techniques.

• Good understanding of joinery, furniture, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, partitions, doors and architectural finishes.

• Ability to read drawings, take site measurements and identify dimensional discrepancies.

• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to independently manage site-related architectural and interior execution activities.

• Ability to coordinate multiple contractors, vendors and project stakeholders.

• Comfortable working under project deadlines and handling site-level challenges.

• Willingness to travel to project sites across India as required.
