Job Description:

Position:         Production Manager

Location:        Daman

Experience:    10 - 12 Years

Industries:     Packaging

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production as per customer requirements.
• Handle Extrusion Machines and ensure smooth and efficient extrusion production.
• Monitor machine parameters, production output, material consumption, and process efficiency.
• Ensure proper operation, setup, and troubleshooting of extrusion machinery.
• Optimize extrusion processes to reduce rejection, wastage, downtime, and production costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards.
• Monitor manpower deployment, shift planning, and operator performance.
• Analyze production data, downtime, rejection, and OEE to improve productivity.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of production records, machine parameters, and shift reports.
• Train and develop production supervisors, operators, and workers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and disciplined production environment.

 Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Packaging Manufacturing and Extrusion Processes.
• Hands-on experience with Extrusion Machines and related production processes.
• Good understanding of machine troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Knowledge of OEE, production planning, wastage control, and productivity improvement.
• Strong leadership, manpower management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage production teams.

Required Qualification: -Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
