About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Executive – Plant HR Operations to manage day-to-day HR activities and support smooth HR operations at the manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plant HR operations, employee engagement, attendance & manpower management, statutory compliance, HR documentation and recruitment support.

The role will primarily focus on HR Operations and Plant HR activities (80–90%), with approximately 10–20% involvement in recruitment and manpower hiring.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant HR Operations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related activities at the manufacturing plant.
  • Handle employee queries, grievances and provide timely resolution.
  • Maintain proper HR documentation, employee records and personnel files.
  • Coordinate employee joining, onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfer and separation processes.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave, shift schedules and manpower deployment.
  • Coordinate with various plant departments for effective manpower utilization.
  • Prepare and maintain regular HR MIS and operational reports.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning – 10–20%

  • Support recruitment for plant-level positions across technical, staff and shop-floor categories.
  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies, candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Screen profiles, schedule interviews and coordinate the selection process.
  • Support manpower planning based on plant requirements.
  • Ensure timely joining and completion of pre-employment documentation.

3. Employee Engagement & Industrial Relations

  • Support employee engagement activities and initiatives at the plant.
  • Address employee concerns and coordinate with management for resolution.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and disciplined work environment.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and employee communication as required.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and department heads regarding workforce-related issues.

4. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Support

  • Monitor daily attendance, absenteeism and overtime data.
  • Coordinate attendance and payroll inputs with the concerned teams.
  • Verify employee leave records and ensure timely updates.
  • Support preparation of monthly payroll-related inputs and HR MIS.

5. Statutory Compliance & Documentation

  • Support implementation and documentation of applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal/external teams for PF, ESIC, bonus, gratuity, labour welfare and other compliance-related activities.
  • Maintain statutory records and HR documentation as required.
  • Support labour inspections, audits and compliance documentation.

6. HR Policies & Process Implementation

  • Ensure effective implementation of company HR policies and procedures at the plant.
  • Communicate HR policies and processes to employees.
  • Assist in improving HR processes and employee experience.
  • Ensure adherence to company rules, discipline and HR guidelines.

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Plant HR / HR Operations, preferably from a manufacturing/automobile/engineering/industrial organization.
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
  • Strong understanding of plant HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Good exposure to attendance, manpower management, employee relations and HR documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Should have some experience in recruitment and hiring, although recruitment will constitute only around 10–20% of the role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of MS Excel, MS Office and HR MIS.
  • Should be proactive, organized, approachable and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates with experience handling shop-floor / blue-collar workforce will be preferred.

Compensation

Maximum CTC: ₹6.00 LPA, depending on experience, current compensation and suitability.

Preferred Candidate: HR professional with strong manufacturing plant HR exposure, excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day plant HR operations.
