Job Description:

JD – Senior Executive – Legal Accounts & Financials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales data monitoring and updation: verify and update sales  data  in the system, categorized by location, ensuring accuracy and proper tracking of sales figures based on the frequency advise by the management.
  • Purchases data updation: coordinate with  senior executive –legal operations  for updated import master file and with relevant legal accountants for taxable and non- taxable purchase invoices to process and update purchases in the system.

Collaborate with Senior Executives – Tax compliance and Legal operation to reconcile import and local purchases  in the legal books  of accounts  v/s  VAT declaration v/s Import master file.

  • Payroll expense verification and recording: consolidate company wise payroll and tax expenses, verify with HR payroll and record expenses in the system on a monthly basis.
  • Bank transactions recording & reconciliation: Review location wise bank entries with legal  accountants and record  bank  receipts and payments  of  corporate accounts. Ensure updation and review of all bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Forex Gain/Loss monitoring & recording: Identify Forex gain/Loss of all companies through bank reconciliation summary and record necessary accounting  entries  for accurate financial reporting.
  • Debtors & Creditors reconciliation: Reconcile and update the balances of debtors and creditors in Tally ERP on regular basis to ensure timely and accurate financial records.
  • Cash receipts & payments: Monitor updation of  all  business/locations cash receipts and payments in the system on regular basis to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Trail Balance verification & updation: Verify  the  Trial Balance  weekly,  raise  and resolve queries in case of any discrepancies, and ensure financial records are up-to- date and accurate.
  • Trail Balance verification : Support TL in finalizing the TB by checking and matching

following

  1. i) Sales Value as per TVA declaration
  2. ii) Purchase value as per Import master & TVA declaration iii) Payroll expenses as per Declared IPR
  3. iv) TVA payable as per TVA declaration
  4. v) Depreciation as per T1 & T2 Schedules

 

  • Balance sheet schedules: Maintain and update all Balance Sheet schedules of all companies on regular basis for review of HOD  and ensure corrections  in General Ledger (GL) as required, and ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Balance sheet schedules : Support TL in updating following BS schedules
  1. i) Outstanding and transactions of Suppliers as per DLF
  2. ii) Outstanding and transactions of customers as per DLC iii) Advances and prepayments
  3. iv) Other Payables & Loans
  4. v) Fixed asset register
  • Updation of legal books of accounts: Coordinate with all business legal accountants and collaborate with  them  to ensure maintenance of complete legal books  of accounts  on a regular basis to maintain compliance with  management & regulatory requirements.
  • Monthly financial statement (FS) reporting: Assist the HOD in updation of monthly

financial reporting and analysis for further reviews.

  • Yearly statutory financial statements (FS) and audits: Assist the HOD in updation of details & schedules related to statutory FS (BILAN) and support HOD in resolving queries raised by the statutory auditor.
  • Financial and regulatory audits by government agencies: Collaborate with the compliance team to support various regulatory audits, ensuring all documentation and reports are available to them on time.
  • Financial records management: Organize and file all financial and legal books of

accounts related documents (Manual + Digital).

  • Other responsibilities: Support HOD in other financial reports & details as and when

required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ICWA/MBA

Finance preferred).

  • 5-7 years of experience in Accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Finalization of books of accounts, Financial analysis and

reporting.

  • Experience in finalizing management and statutory financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare various analytical reports.
  • Strong attention to details, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
