Job Summary

Coldtech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and service refrigeration systems used in commercial ice cream machines. The candidate should have hands-on experience with compressors, refrigeration gas charging, brazing, leak testing, and cooling system diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigeration circuits in ice cream machines.
• Copper pipe bending, cutting, brazing, and refrigeration line installation.
• Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, filters, and other refrigeration components.
• Perform vacuuming, refrigerant gas charging, leak testing, and pressure testing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system faults.
• Test machine cooling performance before dispatch.
• Read refrigeration and electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Maintain service reports and testing records.
• Follow safety standards during manufacturing and servicing.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle.
• Hands-on experience in brazing and copper piping.
• Refrigerant gas charging and recovery.
• Leak detection and pressure testing.
• Compressor installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic electrical wiring and control panel understanding.
• Ability to use refrigeration tools and testing instruments.

Qualification

• ITI (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) / Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in refrigeration systems or commercial cooling equipment.
• Experience in ice cream machines, softy machines, deep freezers, chillers, or commercial refrigeration will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in manufacturing or servicing commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Willing to travel occasionally for machine installation and customer support.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
