Job Description:

Position:      EHS Executive

Location:     Jhagadia - Ankleshwar

Experience:  3 - 5 Years

Industries:   Chemical

Responsibilities:   

• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory requirements, and applicable environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace audits.
• Implement and monitor HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, and other safety procedures.
• Handle chemical safety, hazardous material storage, handling, and transportation practices.
• Monitor PPE compliance and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitor fire & safety systems, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, utility, and other departments for EHS compliance.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, registers, reports, and documentation for statutory inspections.
• Support environmental activities related to ETP, hazardous waste, air emissions, water pollution, and waste management.
• Coordinate with external agencies and government authorities for EHS-related requirements and inspections.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of chemical handling and process safety.
• Knowledge of HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, Fire & Safety and Emergency Response.
• Understanding of environmental compliance and hazardous waste management.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) and Factory Act requirements will be preferred.
• NEBOSH/IOSH/ADIS or equivalent safety qualification will be an advantage.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Chemical/ADIS+PDIS

Salary: - Upto 5.00 LPA
