Job Description:

Position:      Machine Operator

Location:       Silvassa

Experience:    0 - 1  Years

Industry:       Packaging 

Responsibilities:

• Operate plastic processing machines as per SOP and production requirements.
• Assist in machine setup, start-up, shutdown, and basic parameter adjustments.
• Monitor machine temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time, and other operating parameters.
• Ensure proper feeding of raw materials and smooth production operations.
• Inspect products for basic quality defects such as flash, short moulding, cracks, and dimensional issues.
• Maintain production records, machine logbooks, and shift reports.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine checks of machines and work areas.
• Inform the supervisor about machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining product quality and safety standards.

 Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of plastic processing and manufacturing operations.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good observation and learning ability.
• Basic understanding of machine operation and safety.
• Fresher candidates with a relevant ITI/Diploma qualification can also be considered.

Required Qualification: - ITI - Fitter

Salary :- Upto 2.40 LPA
