Job Description:

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY

• Lead and manage design & engineering team
• Define design strategy, standards, and SOPs
• Align design function with company growth & sales strategy

PROJECT & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Ensure:
1. On-time design release
2. Resource allocation
3. Design productivity
• Monitor design KPIs (cycle time, errors, revisions)

TECHNICAL AUTHORITY

• Final approval authority for:
1. Critical designs
2. New product development
• Solve complex engineering challenges
• Drive standardization & modular design approach

INNOVATION & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Lead R&D and new product development
Improve existing machines for:
1. Efficiency
2. Cost reduction
3. Automation
• Stay updated with latest technologies & trends

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION

• Work closely with:
1. Sales (for techno-commercial discussions)
2. Projects & execution teams
3. QA & validation team
• Participate in client meetings for technical discussions

QUALITY & COMPLIANCE

• Ensure designs comply with:
1. GMP / USFDA / EU standards
• Implement design validation and review systems

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

• Train and mentor design engineers
• Build second-line leadership
• Conduct performance reviews
