Project Manager- HVAC

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones using Project Management Tools.

  • Coordinate material procurement, equipment delivery, and manpower allocation.

• Financial & Cost Control:

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, approve change orders, and handle financial forecasting.

  • Optimize resource use to maximize profitability.

• Technical Oversight & Execution:

  • Review mechanical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and submittals.

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) activities for systems like chillers, VRF/VRV units, and air handlers.

• Team Leadership & Safety:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

  • Enforce job-site safety rules and OSHA/local regulatory compliance.

• Client & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Maintain clear communication with owners, general contractors, and architects.

  • Resolve site conflicts and address client concerns promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial HVAC Project Delivery.

• Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC design, chilled water systems,

  • Proficiency in scheduling software and cost-tracking tools.

• Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM.
