Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Production or relevant trade.

Reporting To

Production In-charge / Shift Supervisor

Preferred Background

Sandwich-panel cutting / bandsaw / packing line experience preferred.

Role Purpose

Operate panel cutting/bandsaw and packing equipment to achieve correct length, square cut, finish, identification and dispatch-ready packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Set cutting length and machine parameters as per production order and verify first-off panel dimensions.

• Operate bandsaw/cutting equipment safely and maintain square, clean and damage-free cuts.

• Coordinate with line output to avoid accumulation, jams or handling damage.

• Inspect panel length, edge finish, core condition, protective film and visible defects before packing.

• Arrange stacking, separators, corner protection, wrapping/strapping and labeling according to packing standard.

• Ensure product traceability through bundle tags, job numbers, quantity and customer identification.

• Monitor blades, guides, sensors, conveyors and packing-machine condition; support routine maintenance.

• Minimize cutting loss and packing-material consumption while maintaining protection quality.

• Coordinate with QC and dispatch for hold/release and finished-goods movement.

• Maintain production, cutting, rejection and packing records.
