Job Description:
Role Summary
The person will handle end-to-end purchase and procurement activities, including:
- Reviewing and prioritizing purchase requisitions
- Domestic sourcing and vendor development
- Negotiating prices and getting competitive quotations
- Reviewing and authorizing purchase orders
- Vendor follow-up for samples, orders and dispatch
- Preparing weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Coordinating with Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse
- Managing a team of purchase assistants
- Ensuring material availability, specifications and quality standards
Candidate Requirement
- Experience: 10–12 years
- Industry: Equipment Manufacturing / Engineering Projects / Infrastructure / EPC
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Location: Kolkata
