ERP Functional Analyst (Infor M3)

Job Description:

The role will act as a bridge between business teams and the IT/ERP implementation team, understanding business processes and requirements and translating them into effective ERP solutions.
The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business functions to support requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, ERP configuration, testing, data migration, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
 Work with business stakeholders to understand current business processes
and identify future-state requirements.
 Gather, document, and analyze functional and business requirements.
 Map business processes and translate requirements into ERP functional
solutions.
 Work closely with business users, IT teams, and ERP implementation
consultants.
2. Infor M3 Functional Configuration

 Support the implementation and configuration of Infor M3 Cloud based on
approved business requirements.
 Configure assigned ERP modules, workflows, screens, and system settings.
 Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system
designs.
 Work with Infor implementation consultants to ensure solutions meet business
requirements.
3. Fit-Gap Analysis
 Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis between standard Infor M3 functionality and
business requirements.
 Identify whether requirements can be addressed through standard
functionality, configuration, process changes, workarounds, or customization.
 Document gaps and coordinate with technical teams or implementation
partners for appropriate solutions.
4. ERP Testing & Quality Assurance
 Prepare and execute functional test cases and test scripts.
 Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User
Acceptance Testing (UAT).
 Coordinate with business users during UAT and track issues through
resolution.
 Validate ERP configuration against approved requirements.
5. Data Migration & Integration
 Support ERP data migration and validation activities.
 Work with technical teams to validate migrated data and identify
discrepancies.
 Support data conversion and mapping activities across different business
locations.
 Coordinate with technical teams regarding ERP integrations and interfaces.
6. Documentation & Training
 Prepare and maintain:
o Functional specifications
o Business process documents

o Process flow diagrams
o Configuration documents
o Test scripts
o User manuals
o Training materials
o Conduct end-user training and support change management activities.

7. Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support
 Support cutover and go-live activities.
 Provide functional support during the transition to the new ERP platform.
 Act as a functional SME for Infor M3 after go-live.
 Analyze and resolve ERP-related issues and support tickets.
 Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
 Support ERP enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Customization, Integration & Vendor Coordination
 Coordinate with Infor, implementation partners, vendors, and internal technical
teams.
 Support the development and implementation of ERP customizations,
integrations, and extensions.
 Review proposed solutions and ensure they align with business requirements.
 Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate technical or vendor
team.
9. Reporting & Data Analysis
 Use ERP data to support business analysis and decision-making.
 Support the development and maintenance of ERP reports, dashboards, and
configured screens.
 Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
 Support data analysis and reporting/BI requirements related to the ERP
platform.
10. Process Improvement

 Identify opportunities to improve business processes through ERP
functionality and automation.
 Stay updated on Infor M3 features, ERP technologies, and industry best
practices.
 Recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and system
effectiveness.

Required Qualifications & Skills
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information
Systems, or a related field.
 3+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Analyst, ERP Functional
Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Business Analyst, or similar role.
 Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, configuration, or support.
 Strong understanding of business requirements gathering and process
mapping.
 Experience in Fit-Gap Analysis.
 Experience in preparing and executing test cases and test scripts.
 Hands-on experience with UAT / functional testing.
 Understanding of ERP data migration and validation.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business
stakeholders.
 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project timelines.
 Willingness to work with global teams across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications
 Hands-on experience with Infor M3 / Infor M3 Cloud / Infor CloudSuite.
 Experience in an Infor M3 implementation or migration project.
 Experience with on premises to cloud ERP migration.

 Experience working with an ERP implementation partner or systems
integrator.
 Manufacturing industry experience.
 Experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Inventory,
Procurement, or Production ERP processes.
 Experience with ERP integrations and data conversion.
 Knowledge of reporting and BI tools.
 Experience with ERP-related project management methodologies.
 Infor M3 or other ERP certifications.
 Experience with other ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft
Dynamics 365, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an ERP Functional Consultant / ERP Functional Analyst /ERP Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in ERP implementation orsupport.
Candidates with Infor M3 experience will be strongly preferred. Candidates with strong functional experience in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other manufacturing ERP platforms may also be considered if they have transferable experience in ERP configuration, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing,and implementation.
Manufacturing or Supply Chain ERP experience will be an added advantage.
