Senior Merchandiser (Marketing)

Job Description:

 We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser in Marketing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the woven garment export industry. The candidate will be responsible for buyer communication, order development, product costing, sampling coordination, order follow-up and ensuring timely execution of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new international buyers. 2. Handle buyer enquiries, product development, costing and price negotiations. 3. Coordinate with design, sampling, production, quality and sourcing teams. 4. Follow up on sample development, approvals and order confirmations. 5. Prepare costing sheets, quotations, order details and merchandising reports. 6. Monitor fabric sourcing, trims, accessories and production schedules. 7. Ensure timely execution of orders as per buyer specifications and delivery commitments. 8. Identify new business opportunities and support marketing and sales activities. 9. Coordinate with buyers regarding product specifications, quality standards and shipment schedules. 10. Monitor order status and resolve merchandising-related issues to ensure on-time delivery.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in woven garment merchandising, preferably in an export factory. • Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing and production processes. • Excellent buyer communication, negotiation and coordination skills. • Good knowledge of export documentation and international buyer requirements. • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and ERP systems. • Ability to manage multiple buyer accounts and orders independently.
