About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Founding Business Head – Operations & Growth to lead business operations, launch new markets, and build a scalable multi-city operating model.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a professional who has experience in startup operations, P&L management, city launches, customer growth, workforce management, marketplace operations, and technology-enabled consumer businesses.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in launching the business in Patna, establishing operational systems, building high-performing teams, and creating a scalable model for expansion across multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of business operations, P&L, revenue performance, and overall execution.
• Lead the Patna city launch, including operational planning, team building, partner/workforce onboarding, and service readiness.
• Develop and implement a scalable multi-city operations model for future expansion.
• Drive customer acquisition, customer experience, service quality, retention, and operational efficiency.
• Develop operational processes, SOPs, KPIs, dashboards, and performance-management systems.
• Build strong relationships with workforce, service partners, vendors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with Technology, Product, Growth, Workforce, Finance, and other functional teams.
• Identify operational challenges and implement data-driven solutions to improve productivity and profitability.
• Monitor city-level performance, unit economics, service metrics, and customer feedback.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance founding team.
• Establish systems and processes that can support rapid business growth across multiple markets.
• Work closely with the leadership team on business strategy, market expansion, growth initiatives, and execution priorities.
• Ensure operational scalability while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
