About the Role

Our client, a growing technology-enabled startup, is looking for an experienced and execution-focused Product Manager to manage product features, user journeys and product execution.

The Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, Technology and Business teams to convert business requirements and customer needs into effective product solutions.

This role is ideal for a product professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment and has experience building or managing consumer-facing digital products, marketplace platforms, hyperlocal services, e-commerce products or technology-enabled businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management & Feature Ownership

• Own assigned product features, modules and user journeys from concept through launch.
• Understand customer and business requirements and translate them into clear product solutions.
• Define product objectives, requirements, priorities and expected outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders to identify product improvements and new feature opportunities.
• Ensure product initiatives are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.

Product Requirements & Specifications

• Convert business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with Engineering and Design teams to communicate product requirements effectively.
• Define user flows, functional requirements and product workflows.
• Clarify requirements and resolve product-related questions during development.
• Maintain clear product documentation and feature specifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, Technology and Business teams.
• Coordinate with developers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Work with Operations teams to understand real-world business and customer challenges.
• Support cross-functional teams during product implementation and rollout.

Product Execution & Release Management

• Manage product execution from requirements through development, testing and release.
• Prioritize features, fixes and enhancements based on business impact and customer requirements.
• Coordinate product testing and user acceptance testing.
• Identify and resolve product issues before and after launch.
• Support release planning and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
• Monitor post-launch performance and recommend improvements.

Product Performance & Customer Feedback

• Track product performance, customer feedback and usage metrics.
• Analyse product data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather feedback from customers, operations and internal stakeholders.
• Identify friction points in user journeys and recommend product solutions.
• Continuously improve product functionality, usability and customer experience.

Experience with products involving customers, service partners, bookings, transactions, marketplace operations, workforce management or multi-city operations will be particularly relevant.
