FOREMAN FOR COAL WASHERY

Job Description:

• Position Title: Foreman / Plant Floor Supervisor (Coal Washery)

• Company: Bhatia Energy & Coal Benefication Pvt. Ltd. (Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh)

• Department: Plant Operations & Maintenance / Coal Processing

• Reporting To: Shift Incharge / Plant Manager

• Floor Supervision & Execution: Oversee shop-floor activities across crushing, screening, heavy-media separation (HMS), and washing circuits to ensure smooth, continuous plant operations.

• Machinery Inspection & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine physical checks of heavy equipment (conveyor belts, gearboxes, slurry pumps, vibrating screens, crushers) and quickly identify mechanical or electrical anomalies.

• Maintenance & Repair Coordination: Execute minor repairs, assist maintenance engineers with alignment, bearing replacements, and breakdown fixes to reduce plant downtime.

• Manpower & Resource Management: Direct and guide machine operators, fitters, welders, and helpers on the shop floor to ensure efficient task execution during the shift.

• Safety & Compliance (SHE): Enforce strict plant safety regulations, ensure the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and manage safe working practices (such as lockout/tagout procedures).

• Shift Logging & Communication: Record equipment running hours, maintenance notes, and floor-level issues in logbooks, and provide a clear handover to the incoming shift team.
