CCTV /DRONE OPERATOR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - ASANSOL,WESTBENGAL
Job Description:
- Role: Pilot aerial surveillance drones equipped with high-definition CCTV and thermal cameras while monitoring ground feeds from a control station.
- Objective: Protect assets, inspect hard-to-reach perimeters, and provide real-time aerial intelligence for security and safety teams.
- Flight Operations: Plan and execute automated or manual drone flight paths for routine perimeter patrols or targeted surveillance.
- Live Monitoring: Watch real-time aerial and stationary video feeds to spot trespassing, safety hazards, or unusual behavior.
- Incident Response: Alert on-site security or law enforcement immediately when detecting a security breach or emergency.
- Data Management: Record, store, and retrieve digital video evidence while maintaining proper chain-of-custody logs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks, basic repairs, and troubleshooting for drones, cameras, and control stations.
- Certification: Valid remote pilot license or drone certification compliant with local aviation authorities (e.g., DGCA in India or FAA Part 107).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in flight planning software, PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera controls, and basic CCTV systems.
- Physical & Mental Skills: Strong hand-eye coordination, situational awareness, and the ability to maintain focus during long shifts.
- Background: High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in security, surveillance, or aviation is preferred.
