Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer – MOHH

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer – MOHH to ensure product quality and process compliance in manufacturing operations. The role involves monitoring production quality, implementing quality control systems, and ensuring adherence to internal and customer standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. QUALITY CONTROL & INSPECTION

• Perform in-process and final inspections of products.

• Ensure products meet specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

• Monitor line rejection rates and take corrective actions.

2. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Identify quality issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

3. DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE

• Maintain quality documents including inspection reports, control plans, SOPs, and quality records.

• Ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality standards.

4. SUPPLIER & INCOMING QUALITY

• Inspect incoming raw materials and components.

• Coordinate with suppliers for quality improvements and corrective actions.

5. AUDIT & TRAINING

• Support internal and external quality audits.

• Train production teams on quality procedures and best practices.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, SPC, FMEA, and 8D.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality.

• MOHH experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing / factory floor.

• Coordination with production, engineering, suppliers, and other departments.
