Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced eBoP Lead to manage the operation, maintenance, compliance, and asset management of ISTS-connected pooling substations and associated HV/EHV transmission infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical assets while maintaining high availability and grid connectivity.

Assets Under Management

Pooling Substations (PSS):

1. Wind PSS: 33 kV / 400 kV, 2 x 200 MVA
2. Solar PSS: 33 kV / 400 kV, 1 x 200 MVA + 1 x 140 MVA
3. Solar PSS: 33 kV / 132 kV, 1 x 75 MVA

Transmission Network:

• 33 kV collector system
• 132 kV and 400 kV transmission lines
• EHV switchyards
• Protection & relay systems
• SCADA and communication systems
• Grid interface equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Overall asset management of pooling substations and transmission systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISTS, CEA, Grid Code, CTU/STU, RLDC and SLDC requirements.
• Lead O&M activities for transformers, switchgear, protection systems, transmission lines and associated electrical equipment.
• Manage shutdown planning, outage coordination, emergency restoration and system reliability initiatives.
• Monitor asset health and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with CTU/STU, RLDC, SLDC and other statutory authorities.
• Drive safety compliance, audits, statutory inspections and closure of observations.
• Manage O&M contractors, service providers, budgets, spares and performance KPIs.
• Ensure maximum availability of substations and transmission assets for uninterrupted power evacuation.

Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in EHV/Transmission/Substation O&M and Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with 132 kV/220 kV/400 kV substations and transmission systems.
• Strong knowledge of transformers, protection systems, SCADA, switchyard equipment and grid operations.
• Experience in renewable energy projects (Wind/Solar) with ISTS connectivity preferred.
• Proven experience in managing teams, contractors and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Renewable energy evacuation infrastructure.
• Pooling substations up to 400 kV.
• Coordination with RLDC/SLDC/CTU/STU.
• Asset reliability and performance management.
