Job Description:

 Position:      Maintenance Engineer

Location:       Vapi

Experience:   2 - 5 Years

Industries:    Automobile 

Responsibilities

• Preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
• Maintain hydraulic and servo-based injection moulding machines.
• Diagnose faults using electrical drawings, PLC/HMI alarms, and troubleshooting methods.
• Maintain PLC, HMI, sensors, proximity switches, solenoid valves, contactors, relays, VFDs/servo drives, and control panels.
• Maintain heaters, thermocouples, temperature controllers, hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and valves.
• Coordinate with Production and Tool Room teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain PM schedules, breakdown reports, and machine history cards.
• Conduct RCA and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
• Maintain critical spare-parts inventory.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and preventive-maintenance compliance.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and trials.
• Improve OEE, machine availability, and reliability.

Key Skills

• Hands-on experience with Injection Moulding Machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and servo injection moulding systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors, VFD/servo drives, electrical panels, and control systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
• Familiarity with RCA, CAPA, and 5 Why.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance reporting.

Required Qualification:-Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 3.60 LPA
