Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer responsible for maintaining product and process quality, conducting inspections, resolving quality issues and implementing continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection of components/products.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and analyze internal quality issues, rejection and rework.
Conduct RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone and CAPA for quality problems.
Support customer complaint analysis and prepare 8D reports.
Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA and inspection standards.
Perform SPC and process capability analysis.
Coordinate with Production, Design, Maintenance and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct process/product audits and support ISO 9001 requirements.
Ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring instruments.
Support PPAP, APQP and new product development activities, where applicable.
Drive Kaizen, 5S and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor quality KPIs such as rejection, rework, PPM and process defects.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings and quality standards.
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy / Industrial Engineering.
